Bill Murray is reportedly in talks to take the lead role in Garfield 2. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Murray may do the voice of the cat in the second Garfield film, set to be released next summer. Actors that have confirmed include, Breckin Meyer (Jon) and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Liz), whose part has been cut due to other commitments. Bill Murray is currently treading the boards in Broken Flowers. The first Garfield film came out in 2004, and made $176 million at the box-offices around the world. |
