Britney Spears' dreams of becoming a mother have finally been realised, after she gave birth by Caesarian section to a baby boy yesterday afternoon.
According to American magazine Us Weekly, the 23-year-old singer welcomed her first child into the world shortly before 1pm on Wednesday at California's Santa Monica Ucla Medical Center.
The star and her dancer husband Kevin Federline, 27, arrived at the hospital under police escort just before 6 am, when she was rushed into a birthing suite. She was wheeled into the delivery room at about 12.15 pm, and demivered shortly afterwards. Federline was by her side, and the pair - who will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Sunday - have reportedly decided to call their baby Preston Micheal.
This will be a third baby for Federline, he's also the father of daughter Kori, 3, and son Kaleb, 1, with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. |
