Debra Messing (Will and Grace) and Marcia Corss, star of the cult series Desperte Housewives shone at the 57th Emmy Awards this weekend, lauded by the world's press for their elegance.
Both women chose paris designer Elie Saab, with Cross going for a strapless dress in sequinned emerald to present the prize for best supporting actor, while Debra Messing went for a brown taffeta gown with a floral print from the designer's autumn/winter collection. South African actress Charlize Théron, chose an elegant Chanel number in striking black, embroidered with beads and sequins.
Two series cleaned up at this year's awards, with Lost taking the gong for the best drama series and Desperate Housewives winning Best Actress, for Felicity Huffman. the big winner was Everybody Loves Raymond, which first won a prize back in 2003. |
