Police in the USA's Maryland are launching an enquiry into the activities of actress and heiress Paris Hilton.
Baltimore authorities have confirmed that that are investigating allegations that Hilton has offered teenagers drugs and alcohol, and are taking the complaints very seriously. If found guilty, she could face a prison sentence.
The investigation centres on events during the filming of an episode of The Simple Life: Interns, when Hilton is said to have offered a group of teenagers marijuana and bourbon, one of whom later contacted the police.
The producers of the series, 20th Century Fox, claim that the allegations are false. |
