Jodie Foster Teams Up With De Niro

Rumours are circulating that the next project for actress Jodie Foster will be a film with Robert De Niro.

Apparently, Foster will co-star with De Niro in a drama entitled Sugarland, which tells the story of a group of Florida sugar cane workers.  Foster will play a lawyer specialising in civil rights, while De Niro will play a plantation owner.

Foster and De Niro worked together previously in the well-known film Taxi Driver, when she was just 14.
