Harry Potter Sells 300 Million Books

The publisher of the Harry Potter books, Bloomsbury, has confirmed that the author, JK Rolling, has now sold more than 300 million copies worldwide.

The stories of the young sorcerer have been translated into 63 languages, and at the moment, six of the seven books of the series have been published.

The Potter phenomenon has also been taken to the silver screen.  Next month, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, based on the fourth book of the series, will make it's screen debut.
