The Rock group INXS has announced their first concert tour since the death of lead singer, Michael Hutchence, in 1997, including new vocalist, Canadian J.D. Fortune, who will now lead the Australian group. The "new" INXS will begin the Switched On tour on January 18th, 2006 in Vancouver, Canada. The band are set to release their new album, Switch, on November 29th. INXS is now made up of Andrew Farriss (keyboard and guitar), Tim Farriss (guitar), Jon Farriss (drums), Kirk Pengilly (guitar and saxophone), Garry Beers (bass), and Fortune. J.D. Fortune, 31, was selected during a thirteen-week competition for the coveted spot on the reality series Rock Star: INXS, which aired on the CBS network.
