Three year-old Romeo Beckham was rushed to hospital on Monday evening, after suffering convulsions for the second time in a week.
The Beckham's second child was running a high fever when he arrived at the Madrid medical centre, was kept in overnight for observation, and is expected to undergo tests this week.
The little boy was also taken to hospital ealier this year. In July he was rushed to a Hertfordshire hospital with similar symptoms, but made a full recovery and was back at home the same day. Convulsions are common in children under the age of five, and are triggered by a rapid rise in body temperature, often due to a viral infection.
His famous parents are said to be very worried, with David Beckham postponing his plans to fly to the UK ahead of Real Madrid's football match against Austria at the weekend. |
