Pearl Jam and Led Zeppelin lead singer, Robert Plant, came together for a performance last night for a good cause. The $1,000-per-ticket charity event took place Wednesday night in Chicago, organised to raise money for Hurricane Katrina survivors. It seems that there were more than enough people willing to pay top dollar to see the once-in-a-lifetime performance. Plant opened the show with a few songs from his new album, Mighty Arranger, before doing two classic Led Zeppelin songs, Black Dog and Four Sticks. Pearl Jam also performed some of their biggest hits, during which the artists also had a quiet moment to think about the purpose behind the concert. Plant then took the stage again with Pearl Jam to perform the songs Given to Fly and Going to California. |
