Troubled star Michael Jackson, who has been charged with purchasing antiques and not paying for them, has settled the claim against him. An antiques dealer was asking for $178,000, which was left unpaid from objects purchased in 2004. According to Kamand Enterprises in Hollywood, the star received $380,000 worth of furniture, but never paid the entire bill. The items included such things as a silver tea and coffee set from the 19th century. The two parties resolved the claim out of court. Michael Jackson is currently living in Bahrain, where he has reportedly bought a property. |
