Nicole Richie a Writer

Nicole Richie is about to publish her first book, entitled The Truth About Diamonds.

The star of television's Simple Life released her book last week, and her father, singer Lionel Richie, is said to be very proud.

The book tells a story of the daughter of a successful singer, who eventually turns to drugs. 

Richie has plenty of other projects in mind for the future, including a movie, and perhaps a music career.
