Adam Sandler to Film Drama

American actor Adam Sandler will star in the film Reign O'er Me.

The drama directed by Mike Binder (The Upside of Anger) recalls the events of September 11th, 2001. Filming is set to begin next year.

It will be the first non-comedy film for Sandler, best known for his films The Waterboy, Big Daddy and The Longest Yard.

In Reign O'er Me, Sandler will play a man who loses his family in the tragedy.
