After months of denial, celebrity couple Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have confirmed that they are officially separated. The couple announced their separation today in a press release in Us Weekly, which stated: "After three years of marriage, and careful thought and consideration, we have decided to part ways. This is the mutual decision of two people with an enormous amount of respect and admiration for each other. We hope that you respect our privacy during this difficult time." Nick and Jessica were married in Austin, Texas in October 2002 in front of more than 250 guests. The couple's popularity soared popular when they starred in an MTV reality show, called Newlyweds. |
