George Michael has announced that he plans to wed his long-term boyfriend Kenny Goss, when same-sex civil partnerships become legal in the UK soon.
The couple plan to Seal their union early next year, in front of friends and family in a private ceremony. The 47 year-old singer, who recently laughed off the rumours of a Wham! comeback tour, praised Britain for giving gay marriage the green light, adding that: "I want Kenny to have his rights just as I want mine. It's wonderful that gay marriages will become legal and it is long overdue." |
