Sir Elton John and his long-term partner David Furnish are set to marry in the same registry office as Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles before the end of the year.
The legendary singer will tie the knot at the Windsor Guildhall in Berkshire, on 21st December - the very day that civil partnerships become legal in Britain. John, 58 and Furnish, 43, are said to be planning an intimate ceremony for their families, followed by a lavish reception for 700 guests, including famous friends Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Hurley, George Michael and ex-Boyzone band member Stephen Gately.
The couple are said to be "ecstatic" that they have been given to go-ahead to marry at the venue. |
