Months after Linkin Park made its contract renegotiation dispute with Warner Bros. public, the band and the label are close to resolving the matter without any further ugliness. According to Billboard magazine, the group and label are preparing for the release of a new CD. Linkin Park guitarist, Brad Delson, told Billboard, "We're resolving our differences and we're looking forward to putting out a record next year. We're all focused on the creative process right now." Last May, the group announced that they were going to delay their plans for a spring 2006 album, citing that Warner's cost-cutting plans would impact the success of their record.
