Rap star 50 Cent is to turn his hand to producing films on DVD. After music and acting, the hip-hop star is now adding filmmaking to his CV. 50 Cent told MTV Europe, "When I come across a screenplay that's as exciting as my life story, then I will commit to it." The singer plans to take the G-Unit fiction books from the shelf and onto DVD. 50 Cent hopes to begin working on his new project in 2007. Meanwhile, the rapper is fighting allegations plagiarism. Janine Gordon, also known as JahJah, has filed a legal complaint in a Manhattan court, claiming that 50 Cent copied her tunes for the songs Poppin' at Da Club, Crazy Dreams and Hardcore from his CD The Massacre. |
