Elton John will foot the bill for extra police officers to help with crowd control at his wedding later this week. The celebrity and his Canadian partner, David Furnish, will marry on December 21st in Windsor Chapel, which was also used by Prince Charles Camilla Parker-Bowles in April. Due to the singer's popularity and the celebrity guest list, additional police officers have been drafted in. As well as the 700 guests, police are expecting thousands of fans to turn up. The guest list includes David and Victoria Beckham, Liz Hurley, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and many others. |
