Ashlee Simpson Hospitalized in Japan

American singer Ashlee Simpson was rushed to hospital on Thursday, in Japan.

Jessica Simpson's little sister was on a promotional visit to MTV Japan for her album I Am Me when she became ill.

After performing one of her songs, the young woman collapsed in an elevator, and was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.  She is still undergoing tests, but her manager has already reported that she will not be performing at Monday night's Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas.
