The star filed the necessary paperwork last Friday in Los Angeles, citing "irreconciliable differences" as the reason for the split. The pair announced that they were separating on November 23rd. In an interview with People magazine, Simpson said that her husband's party lifestyle was one of the reasons behind her decision.
