Singer and actress Jessica Simpson is the most recent name being discussed to be the next Bond Girl. According to ITV, Simpson is now under review, after Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron and Sienna Miller have all refused the part in the upcoming Casino Royale. Producers will have to work quickly to find their girl to star opposite Daniel Craig, who will appear for the first time as Agent 007. Past Bond Girls included Ursula Andress, Jane Seymour, Carole Bouquet, Halle Berry and Teri Hatcher. Filming for Casino Royale is scheduled to begin later this month. The film, which will be directed by Martin Campbell (The Mask of Zorro, GoldenEye, The Legend of Zorro) will open in cinemas in November. |
