Mark Wahlberg has agreed to play an American football hero in the movie Invincible. The star of The Italian Job, Planet of the Apes and Three Kings, among others, will play Vince Papale of the Philadelphia Eagles. Based on a true story, the film follows the life of Papale, a teacher and part-time bartender who became a big name in football in the 1970s, playing with the Eagles for three seasons. Wahlberg talked to MTV about Papale, "The guy became the heart and soul of the team and uplifted the whole city. He[Papale] is the real Rocky Balboa of Philadelphia, and he's an amazing guy, an amazing father and an amazing son. He has all the heart in the world." Actor Greg Kinnear will also star in Invincible as a team trainer.
