Singer-turned-actor Justin Timberlake has announced that he has no plans to leave the music world behind. Regardless of rumours to the contrary, Timberlake has denied that he is set to quit his music career to concentrate on acting. The former N Sync member has a big year of film premiers planned for 2006, appearing in Edison, Black Snake Moan and Alpha Dog. In an interview with MTV, Timberlake explained, "Hopefully I'll find a way to manage the two, because it does become a stretch. I always wanted to get into film and then the right opportunities came up and I didn't want to poop on them. I got to work with directors I thought were cool and I had a blast." Timberlake's last CD, Justified, was released in 2002, and earned the star the Best Pop Disc title at the Grammy Awards that year. |
