Melanie Griffith has checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab facility to ''reinforce her commitment to stay healthy''.

The 52-year-old actress has checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge - where Lindsay Lohan and Kristen Dunst previously received treatment - to be treated for an undisclosed condition.
Her representative Robin Baum said: "She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy. This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago."
This is Melanie's third stint in a treatment centre.
In 1988, she checked in to a facility to help her battle addictions to alcohol and cocaine.
In 2000, she sought help for an addiction to painkillers which she developed after taking medication for a neck injury.
Melanie - who has a 12-year-old daughter, Stella, with her husband, actor Antonio Banderas - has previously said her family have been instrumental in helping her deal with her personal problems.
The blonde star - who also has a 24-year-old son, Alexander, and 19-year-old daughter, Dakota, from previous relationships - said: "Overcoming addictions is tough but it can be made easier if you have someone that can offer support. My husband and family supported me so much through this journey and continue to do so."
It has been claimed her latest stay in rehab came at the insistence of Antonio, who feared her life was spiralling out of control.
A source is quoted by gossip blogger Perez Hilton as saying: "The reason Melanie checked in was her husband was demanding that she get clean and sober. He told her that if she didn't get the help she needed it would be the end of their marriage." |
