Helen Hunt (As Good As It Gets, Mad About You) has announced she will star and make her directorial debut in the film Then She Found Me. Hunt has adapted the scenario from a novel by Elinor Lipman, and has Diane Keaton and Woody Harrelson in talks to work with her on the project, filming for which will hopefully begin at the end of the year. Hunt will play a teacher in a Philadelphia school who is going through a mid-life crisis. Her husband leaves her, her adoptive mother dies, and then her eccentric biological mother enters her life. Hunt spent seven years working on the screenplay, which is about betrayal and forgiveness. |
