Rapper Lil' Kim has been released from prison. According to the Associated Press, the RnB star was freed after serving the past ten months behind bars in a Philadelphia detention centre. A swarm of fans was waiting outside to congratulate Lil' Kim, who stands at just 4'11". She was wearing white and carrying a bouquet of white roses, as she accepted fans' words of encouragement and climbed into a waiting Rolls Royce. As she left, she told the crowd, "I love you". Kim was sentenced to prison following a conviction for lying to a federal jury over a fight between her gang and their rival, Capone-N-Noreaga. A shooting between took place, but Lil' Kim swore on the stand that she wasn't a witness. Lil' Kim will be under house arrest for the next 30 days, and then will be under supervised release for the next three years. |
