The third album from Franz Ferdinand promises to be very different from its predecessors. According to various American sources, singer Alex Kapranos says they're going for a totally different sound. They're currently working on songs for the album. Kapranos has written some tracks but wants to make some of them more distinctive than the songs on You Could Have It So Much Better, which was released in 2005. The group have not yet chosen a producer for their next release, and may put the record together themselves. |
