Four of Bob Marley's children are planning a concert to mark the would-be 62nd birthday of the king of reggae. The concert, "Smile Jamaica", will take place on February 10 in Nine Miles, St. Ann, the birthplace of the legendary singer. Stephen, Ky-Mani, Damian and Julian Marley will appear during the week-long celebration of Marley's life. Bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945 in Jamaica. He became an icon with hits including No Woman, No Cry and I Shot the Sheriff, among others. He died of cancer in 1981 at the tender age of 36. |
