American media magnate Martha Stewart is free after five months in prison. The 63 year-old left the West Virginia correctional institute at midnight, but her sentence is not quite finished as the star will be under house arrest for the next 5 months. She will be fitted with an electronic anke bracelet which will allow the authorities to keep track of her at all times. Stewart became a multi-millionaire through her homemaking television shows and products, but was found guilty of lying about a stock sale, resulting in her prison sentence. |
