Actress Charlize Theron is to star in The Battle in Seattle, directed by boyfriend Stuart Townsend. According to Variety, Theron will appear alongside Andre Benjamin (rapper Andre 3000), Martin Henderson, Woody Harrelson and Ray Liotta. Irish actor Stuart Townsend will make his directorial debut with the project, for which he also wrote the screenplay. The story centres around the political protests in the city regarding the World Trade Organization in 1999. Like the films Bobby and Crash, the film will show several different perspectives of the story. |
