Dustin Hoffman, 71, says he will only retire from making films when he stops having sex and claims masturbation keeps him healthy.

The 71-year-old actor insists that along with a regular exercise regime pleasuring himself is a good way to stay in shape.
Speaking at the UK premiere of 'Last Chance Harvey' in London's Leicester Square last night (03.06.09), Dustin told BANG Showbiz: "I work out every morning, it's hard. I play tennis and injure myself from it, which happens more often. I jog and I do light weights.
"I fondle myself on occasion too and that burns calories, I believe!"
Dustin - who is married to Lisa Gottsegen and has six children - has no intention of ending his career until he stops having sex.
He said: "I don't know what retiring means, I always understood people retire from their job and I've never thought of what I do as a job. I think there's a difference between what you do as a job and what you call your work.
"I don't want to stop working and I don't want to stop having sex either and they kind of go hand-in-hand."
The actor also praised his 'Last Chance Harvey' co-star Emma Thompson.
Dustin insists that unlike some of his previous movie sex scenes, he did not have to fake any intimacy with the British star.
He said: "It's a great experience and whatever you see on screen between us is genuine. I never like to say if a film has been good or bad but I can say that the affection between us is genuine, the interaction. We weren't faking it, which you have to do sometimes. We didn't fake one orgasm, which is reassuring.
"I don't understand why actors who've worked with Emma haven't extolled her virtues and sang her praises as much as I have. She's the most generous and intelligent and exceptional actor you could hope to work with." |
