Stars Jack Nicholson and Randy Quaid are reportedly keen to be involved in the remake of the comedy-drama The Last Detail, along with Morgan Freeman, who is interested in playing the role originally performed by Otis Young. Darryl Ponicsan, who wrote under the pen name Robert Towne, wrote the book that was later turned into a successful movie in 1973. Ponicsan has already written a sequel to the book, entitled Last Flag Flying. In the new film, Nicholson's character will own a bar. The three actors are anxiously awaiting the final script, so they can begin working. |
