Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles are currently being considered for roles in the remake of The Omen, from 1976, which originally starred Gregory Peck and Lee Remick. Filming is set to begin in October, for a release date is in June, 2006. The new version will have the title The Omen 666. Richard Donner directed the original film, and John Moore (Flight of the Phoenix) will direct the remake, which was written by Dan McDermott (Selling Time). Schreiber recently wrote and directed Everything is Illuminated, starring Elijah Wood, which opens on September 16th. |
