Anthony Anderson (King's Ransom) is currently in talks to join Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg and Jack Nicholson in Martin Scorcese's next police thriller, The Departed, inspired by the film Internal Affairs, made in Hong Kong. The film, set in Boston, follows the story of a gangster (Damon) who infiltrates the police department, and a police officer (DiCaprio) who infiltrates the gang. They both discover that there is a mole in the other's camp, and race against time to find each other's identity. Anderson will play a police officer who develops a relationship with both men. William Monahan (Kingdom of Heaven) wrote the script. |
