Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond has no memory at all of the two weeks following his horiffic car crash in September.
The Hamster, who nearly died in the crash and was expected to take 15 months to recover, appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show and said he has a total blank in his memory because of the brain injuries he suffered when his car dragster went out of control at nearly 300 mph.
"I was driving and then it was two weeks later and I was in hospital," he said. "There was a sense of 'oh bugger.'"
Richard suffered post-traumatic amnesia, which gave him a five-second memory, and struggled to remember things when he was in hospital. He says he's now fully recovered and is looking forward to getting back to work. |
