Biography - Limp Bizkit |  Published by benizkit | Florida rapcore band, Limp Bizkit was formed in 1994, by vocalist Fred Durst and bass player Sam Rivers. The group was completed by guitarist, Wes Borland and drummer John Otto (also River's cousin) and later joined by DJ Lethal.
They caught their break after a Korn concert, when the band listened to their demo tape. Korn were so impressed, that they passed it on to their producer, Ross Robinson and the folowing year Limp Bizkit were picked to go on tour with House of Pain and the Deftones. 'Three Dollar Bill Y'all' was released in 1998, and their second album, 'Significant Other' followed in June 1999: It went straight to number one and sold over four million copies by the year's end.
The group came under media scrutiny following the riots at Woodstock '99, when a mosh-pit rape and numerous injuries were reported after their set. This did not deter the band however, and they went on to head line the 'Family Values' tour. Their third album, 'Chocolate Satefish and Chocolate Flavoured Water' was released in 2000.
