On 31 August 1994, he played his first Division 1 match for Monaco against Nice, he was 17 years old. He already presented himself as a great future player, and in 1996 he won the European Junior Cup, with David Trézéguet. In 1998, during the French World Cup, he marked 4 goals and was the strongest french player. Then, in Euro 2000 he scored 3 goals in 5 matches and dodged every defence he met. 1m88 and 83 kilos, Thierry Henry is above all, remarkable in his physical fitness, he is one of the fastest players in the world.
