Jason Statham shot to fame as Bacon in Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, after modelling for French Connection, who were major sponsors of the film. His dry East-End gangster wit, saw him take part in Ritchies next smash hit, Snatch, alongside Brad Pitt and Benicio Del Toro, and the next big thing was born in the British film world. A starring role in the 2003 remake of The Italian Job sealed his credentials, and Statham is now one of the country's leading film actors, clocking up an amazing 17 films in his first seven years in the industry.

The former model has been romantically linked to British actress and television presenter Kelly Brooke, and has represented Britain as a diver, in the Olympic Games. He now lives in Los Angeles, in a £1.2 million home near Sunset Plaza.
