Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he joined 'The Mickey Mouse Club' at 12, where he met long-time girlfriend Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. After the programme folded, he formed *NSync at 14 with four friends in Orlando. Their first single, released in 1998 was 'I Want You Back', taken from their first album. Both sold like hotcakes, and the boys drew the crowds on sell-out tours. After two more albums ('No Strings Attached' and 'Celebrity'), the group took time out to concentrate on other projects, during which Timberlake launched his solo career and split up with girlfriend Britney Spears.

After working with the cream of US hip-hop, such as The Neptunes, Timbaland and P.Diddy on his first solo album, it was released in 2002, to great critical acclaim. His biggets hits were 'Cry Me a River', written about the end of his relationship with Britney and 'Rock your Body'.

And he's one of the most attractive men in the business.
