Biography - David Schwimmer |  Published by evelise | David Schwimmer was born on 12 November 1960 in New York and spent his childhood in Los Angeles, studying in Beverley Hills. A gifted student, he was trying to decide between law and medecine after leaving High School, when his talent as a comic actor was noticed during a drama lesson. Encouraged by his teachers, he went on to start the Looking Glass Theatre Company in Chicago, with which he both acted and produced.
His film roles include 'Wolf' in1994 opposite Michelle Pfeiffer and Jack Nicholson and 'Six Days, Seven Nights' in 1998 with Harrison Ford. It was 'Friends' however, that made his fortune and he played the role of Ross for ten years, until the series folded. |
