Fidget Spinner Lip Gloss Is Now A Thing Because Hey, This Is 2017

by Pascale Day Published on 27 June 2017

This is 2K17, and is a fad really a fad if it hasn't taken over every corner of your life? Millennials, may we introduce to you: the fidget spinner lip gloss - also known as the only beauty product you need if you truly want to be down with the kids.

The Glamspin, which is a collaboration between Buzzfeed Product Labs and Taste Beauty, is not only a trio of lip glosses but is actually a fully functional fidget spinner too. Each of the three glosses is a different flavour: Peach Whirl, Grape Twist and Strawberry Cyclone, and at $9.99 (£7.83), it's only a little bit more than an actual fidget spinner, so you're definitely getting more bang for your buck, keeping your fingers busy and your lips soft.

But if you think that this is the first gadget-inspired beauty combo to hit the market, then you'd be sadly mistaken. Like I said, this is 2017, and us millennials have to take everything to such extremes to ensure nothing is sacred anymore. For example, beauty blogger and CoverGirl star James Charles has already tried contouring with a spinner, and nail artist Natasha Lee has created a fidget spinner manicure, and some teens recently incorporated the toy into their corsages at their prom.

So, pray tell: how desperate are you to get your hands on the Glamspin? Well, you'll have to wait a few weeks - Glamspins will begin shipping in mid-July, so start making room in your bag for your new toy.
