Plus Size Model Tess Holliday Urges Users To Boycott Fat-Shaming Facebook Page

If fat-shaming, body-slamming internet trolls make you lose your sh*t then you probably shouldn't read on, unless you have a large bottle of vino to hand. Project Harpoon, we're with Tess Holliday on this one #effyourbeautystandards

Last time we checked health came from loving and respecting your body but according to Project Harpoon, thinner beauty is where it's at. How stupid were we?

The self-proclaimed 'feminist' (ahem) page is on a fat-shaming mission, digitally slimming famous faces all for a good cause - to stop feeding obesity. And what better way to do it than to ridicule and humiliate people eh? It's everything that is wrong with the internet.

Photoshopping plus size celebrities and models down from 'Miss Piggy to Miss Pin-up' and digging them out with captions such as, 'From double wide to a possible bride, being thin could do wonders', this is fat-shaming and then some.

Plus size model Tess Holliday, Rebel Wilson and Melissa McCarthy are just some of the celebrities that have been targeted by the abominable account.

Holliday told E! Online: "This kind of hit piece is exactly why I started #effyourbeautystandards. I am asking my followers to boycott this [page] and any others like it. Loving yourself is the most powerful message we all need to stand behind.”

And the worst part of all of this is the anonymous user calls itself (because that's what it is, an it) a feminist and even uses hashtags such as #happierwhenskinnier and #womensrights... WOMEN'S RIGHTS! Ignorant and malicious, what an absolute joy of a person.

To the 2,475 people that are fuelling their sick Photoshop fantasies, do us a favour and hit the UNLIKE button already.
