Drake Bell has made it no secret that he is not a Belieber. After his recent tweet calling Justin Bieber “talentless,” fans of the Beebs swarmed to Justin's defense. Drake has now shared a link over Twitter to a “We the People” petition to have Justin deported, and the petition already has over 60,000 signatures. Will Justin be forced to go back to Canada?

It seems that like so many celebrities before him, Drake Bell has found a cause and a movement to fall behind: the movement to have Justin Bieber deported?

The star from Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh has always had a thing against the Beebs, even tweeting that the young singer was “talentless,” but how he has taken the feud a step further. Drake tweeted a link Monday to a “We the People” petition calling for Justin Bieber’s deportation back to his home country of Canada.

The petition, created on January 23, states, “We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

Harsh! The “We the People” petition platform was first created under the Obama Administration to better bring public issues to the attention of the government. The Obama Administration has promised to respond to any petition that receives more than 25,000 signatures.

The government proved their promise when Paul Shawcross, the chief of the Science and Space Branch of the White House, released an official, and adorably geeky, statement responding to a “We the People” petition calling for the American government to build a Star Wars Death Star….

As of Tuesday morning, the petition to have Justin Bieber’s green card revoked received over 60,000 signatures, almost twice as many as the Death Star petition, meaning the White House will soon have to respond.

Could Justin be forced back to Canada and out of the American country? Deportation seems a bit harsh for a young man facing his first trouble with the law, but since Justin is, or at least was, undoubtedly a role model for many young people, perhaps his actions hold more weight.
