We can't believe that Glee has reached its 100th episode in the US! The series that became a hit due to its cheerful music covers, comedy-drama premise and quick-witted characters (we mean Sue Sylvestor, of course) is celebrating the landmark by performing their favourite ever songs, but which do you think should make the cut? Here's our top 20 all time favourites...

20. Applause

This might be slightly gratuitous for a random song during Glee club - ya know, because of the crazy costumes and elaborate props - but at this point we have to let go of logic, sit back and enjoy the ridiculous ride that is Glee. Especially when they do Gaga better than Gaga.

19. Teenage Dream

This was the first time we met Blaine and realised he was about to become our cherished baby angel. Hey Blaine.

18. The Safety Dance

This episode was directed by King nerd Joss Whedon, and this song showed us Artie's moves for the first time ever. He is one amazing dancer.

17. Total Eclipse of the Heart

Is it the three sexy men singing in turn? Is it the random ballet dance sequence? Whatever, we loved this.

16. It’s Time

Blaine is skipping guys. BLAINE IS SKIPPING EVERYONE STAY CALM. Catchy tune as well! But mostly, Blaine.

15. Some Nights

The new cast's first bullseye at an awesome song - we couldn't stop humming this!

14. Somewhere Only We Know

Blaine is sad you guys. Let us hug him and tell him it'll all be okay, and enjoy his lovely Keane cover.

13. Without You

This might be Rachel's best ever song of the show - it is perfection!

Loading...

12. Bad Romance

Since Glee is completely over-the-top, ridiculous and showmance-y, they absolutely kill it when they perform Lady Gaga!

11. We Are Young

Great song, and the New Directions smashed it!

10. Smooth Criminal

Who was better? Santana, Sebastian or 2Cello? ARGH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS SO GOOD.

9. Anyway you want / Lovin Touchin Squeezin

This Journey medley was one of Glee's finest moments!

8. Marry the Night

Adam Lambert is a new character on the show for less than 30 seconds before he performs, and yet this has definitely made our top 10 Glee performances. You just can't look away!

7. Valerie

Santana basically channels Amy Winehouse's spirit in this. Amazing.

6. Somebody to Love

An absolute classic. A must have for the list.

5. Like a Prayer

This was when Glee was just beginning to get weirdly flashy (like, where did the huge choir come from?!) but this classic was so well done, we forgave them the lapse in logic!

4. Bohemian Rhapsody

This performance beat our beloved New Directions in competition, and we don't want to be mean but it's clear why!

Loading...

3. Singing in the Rain/Umbrella

A song was meant to be a modern hit meets a classic, and they did it perfectly!

Loading...

2. Toxic

The slowed down, jazzy version of Toxic with the whole gang (including Mr Shue, creepy), is one of Glee's finest moments.

1. Rumour Has It/Someone Like You

THIS. PERFORMANCE.
