The Carters are stunned by Buster shock return to Walford but the happy reunion doesn’t last for long when Buster’s presence reminds Mick of all the lies and deceit within the family. Buster later tells Shirley he wants to move to Greece and start a new life with her, which she agrees to.
Meanwhile, Stan’s condition continues to deteriorate causing further tension between Mick and Shirley. After sharing her plans to move away that night, Shirley bumps into Phil who makes her think about whether it is the right decision. Concerned about her family, Shirley takes matters in to her own hands with dramatic consequences.
Alfie and Stacey stay by Kat’s bedside as she pulls through the worst and a distraught Alfie assures Kat that he is going to be there for her.
