Ashley's decided he's moving to Woodbine and a he's packing up Laurel comes in and suggests a drink to say goodbye to the place. The two get drunk and Laurel misses a call from Marlon.
In the heat of the moment, Laurel tells Ashley she wishes he and Gabby were going to live with her. She's unaware of how Ashley really feels.
Edna and Sandy return to find them drunk - Sandy worries for Ashley's feelings.
Elsewhere, Nicola tells Bernice she and Jimmy are having problems - and Bernice is far from tactful.
Determined to get Jimmy back, Nicola arrives at Pear Tree Cottage and tells Charity she’s there to work. But when PC Swirling arrives he tells Nicola her statement doesn't add up. PC Swirling says Jimmy will have to go on a re-training course and so Charity claims Nicola can do deliveries.
Also, Paddy helps Marlon buy an engagement ring and set up a proposal plan for Laurel.
