Amy initially takes hope from Joanie's compassion in the face of the siege, but is wary when Joanie suggests they chat away from Kyle. Joanie tells her she's got no hope of getting Kyle back - he is legally hers.
Elsewhere, emergency services gain access to the pub as the rain and flood waters subside. Clear up work begins at David's shop and the Church - both have been flooded.
Also, the shot villager is still fighting for their life in the hospital. They're taken back into surgery in an attempt to save them.
