Jean Paul Gaultier takes us on a trip to Mexico with his latest haute couture offering.

All of Gaultier's favourites are there: crystal-embroidered jeans with leg-revealing slits on the sides, the sailor shirt in a suit version with a plunging neckline, men's suits feminised to the extreme with gold sequins and covered by muslin.

One of the strong trends is the meticulous weaving on pockets, on the back of a suit, on bags and even on a taffeta corset dress.

There were many stand-out items including a crepe suit with flared trousers and bolero-like jacket; a black crepe tuxedo with black woven ribbons on the collar; and a bodysuit with pleated sleeves.
