Get ready to get your 90s grunge on in a Primark spesh. The budget fashion retailer has just unveiled its Autumn/Winter collection and it doesn’t disappoint. In a new-look catwalk-worthy collection Primark seems to have undergone a style overhaul featuring Chanel-esque tartan dresses, printed paisley trousers and leather separates. Bye-bye wardrobe staples, hello fashion-forward finishes.

Primark has always been the go-to store for fashion on a budget but its new Autumn/Winter 13 collection is in a whole different league from its usual holiday staples and bargain bits.

We’re talking front row finishes, catwalk chic Crombie coats and pose-perfect printed trousers. The new collection is grown-up and feminine with a trend-worthy tough edge.

It seems Primark has made the leap from high street to high end in the split of a seam and is now looking to designers for inspiration.

The new collection builds on the glam grunge theme seen on this season’s catwalks including Moschino, Holly Fulton and pretty minimal pastels from Celine and JW Anderson.

So whether you’re in a girly mood or a tomboy temper you can rely on Primark to dress you in designer-inspired key pieces come autumn time.

Primark’s been having a bit of a moment of late with the launch of its online collection with Asos and now the brand has soared in the style-stakes with their new season collection.

As well as playing with the grunge theme, the new collection features sport chic pieces a plenty so you can have comfort without the cost.

Biker ankle boots, cracked leather pencil skirts, rucksacks and bralettes - the range is bound to be a hit with all those Rihanna fans.

If you’re an accessories girl a la Olivia Palermo you’re in for a real sweet treat too with their £8 statement necklaces featuring gold tiger heads as well as emerald and ruby stones.

There are also stylish suede tote bags and croc clutches, as well as fedora hats to add to your ever-growing collection.

We’re kind of hoping the summer hurries up just so we can get a hold of that Crombie coat. Divine!
