Ennio Capasa, the man behind Costume National, delivered a collection that is perfectly consistent, completely wearable, and particularly contemporary.

A cortege of knitted lurex is interspersed with elegant petrol-blue gowns while gold lamé weaves its way into dresses and tops with deep V-necks. Glimmering effects remain delicate and discreet.

Boleros, trouser/skirt suits, sleeveless jackets and neck scarves are just some of the highlights of this collection. Evening wear is as light as a breeze: dresses feature plunging necklines and come in different lengths while the colour blue is in its prime.

Ennio Capasa's vision of summer 2010 is enthralling: it enables us to dress up without being overdressed.
